The Position This is a hands-on role responsible for the accurate processing of sales enquiries, inbound, outbound and internal orders. You will be required to liaise with various departments and adapt quickly to customer demand.
Duties and Responsibilities - To handle telephone sales and technical enquiries and also refer customers to the appropriate sales or other personnel where required.
- To service over-the-counter customers with sales and support issues.
- To ensure that all projects out for tender are quoted in a timely fashion and to ensure that these quotations are accurate and competitive
- To use competent, polite and service-oriented communication skills when dealing with all customers.
- Work within the sales team and actively support other members of the team as required.
- To ensure that all outstanding projects over an agreed size obtain regular follow up, consistent with maximising the Company's opportunities of obtaining the order.
- Receiving and entering goods into the warehouse.
- Picking packing and despatching orders.
- Maintain efficient use of warehouse space.
- Forklift operations.
- Computer use.
- Adherence to WHS practices.
- General warehouse housekeeping.
Skills and Qualifications - Pro-active and highly adaptable.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proven work history in a similar role.
