Long term opportunity for Senior Project Manager to manage a range of business projects in a friendly Government department.

Canberra

Paxus are currenlty recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for an initial 12 month contract.

In this role you will:

• Manage a range of business projects, often concurrently, in accordance with recognised project management methodologies to deliver a quality outcome within agreed tolerances.
• Provide advice on information technology and communication matters to clients and other stakeholders, at all levels
• Ensure business need is articulated and mapped to technical solutions using formal agreed business analysis processes.
• Document and develop essential project artefacts, including business cases, project plans, business requirements, tender documentation and general status and progress reports, both scheduled and ad hoc.
• Employ sound project management principles and practices, including financial management, to ensure projects deliver planned outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Relevant highly developed knowledge and understanding of project management and/or business analysis processes and their application.
• Relevant formal qualifications in a recognised business analysis or project management discipline would be highly desirable.
