Our Government client is seeking a talented Integration Developer to join their team in Canberra.

Your Role:
Technical person with knowledge and hands-on experience of software development, design and integration and can apply this knowledge to solve complex software engineering problems. You will use teamwork and group dynamics skills to perform or lead development of software engineering solutions.
About You:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be an Australian citizen
- Must hold at least an AGSVA Baseline security clearance, NV1 preferred
- Knowledge across multiple platforms, processes or architectures, particularly related to Service Oriented Architecture, Micro Services and IBM Integration Technologies such as IIB, MQ, DataPower and API Connect
- Linux - Expertise and experience in Linux/RHEL system administration and shell scripting
- Java - Expertise and experience developing in J2EE frameworks such as Spring and JPA/Hibernate; and working with web services (SOAP) and DB2 databases
- Ability to perform detailed, hands on technical activities to high quality standards
- Preparedness to learn and develop new technical skills quickly
Highly Desirable:
- Integration - Experience developing in IBM Integration Middleware technologies such as DataPower, Integration Bus, MQ and API Connect as a Developer
- Knowledge of the development and execution of test cases using the Rational Test Suite
- Knowledge of developing and implementing operating system level scripting to support automation of operation, management and software deployment activities
- Knowledge of developing RHEL software deployment packages (i.e. RPMs)
- Knowledge of the development and maintenance of SELinux environments.
