About the role
 
 
We're in an exciting period of growth both nationally and globally, and we have ambitious goals to expand in the sunny state of Queensland. This presents as both an opportunity and challenge for a passionate Coffee Rockstar who wants to pursue a genuine career in the specialty coffee industry.
 
 
Reporting to the State Sales Manager and joining the QLD Sales team of 5, this role combines both new business development and account management across the  territory, with some regional travel. Your main office will be on the road covering your territory; identifying and developing new business that aligns with the Toby's Estate brand philosophy, and visiting your existing customers to cultivate meaningful relationships and ensure service excellence is delivered including access to our quality assurance, service technicians, and barista training.
 
 
We have two roles available, Brisbane Metro and QLD South. An ideal home base for Brisbane Metro role would be in the from Sangate to the Brisbane River, and for QLD South the Gold Coast area would be ideal as the territory covers from Coomera to Port Macquarie. You will also work from and liaise with our Newstead office/distribution warehouse, and on the cards will be annual trips to Sydney Head Office and Roastery for sales education and team building.
 
 
About you
 
 
We are looking for someone who will act as a brand ambassador to drive our mission to 'push the boundaries’, and of course have fun with us along the way!
 
 
What you’ll bring:
 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the coffee industry.
  • Experience in sales or business development (bonus pkg for hitting targets).
  • Passion for specialty coffee and coffee excellence.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to manage negotiations and expectations.
  • Positive attitude and proactive about building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • You value teamwork balanced with self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Highly organised, attention to detail, and comfortable with sales reporting.
  • Ability to work full-time and be flexible with early starts/late finishes in line with your customers' needs.
  • A driver’s license is essential as you will be on the road visiting cafes and customers – a car is part of the salary package.
