AIC Delivery Officer

We currently require an Australian Industry Capability Delivery Officer for a large scale defence project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse & evaluate AIC proposals, in consultation with key stakeholders, identifying and pursuing options for increased AIC outcomes;
• Lead supplier AIC support for nominated equipment & procurement activities including promoting and communicating the industrial objectives of the project;
• Providing advice and guidance on the AIC framework for suppliers;
• Providing support to potential and contracted suppliers in the initial development, maturing and updating of their AIC Plans, whilst maintaining probity.
• Ensure supplier compliance to AIC reporting requirements and ability to provide qualitative data to the AIC Delivery team;
• Participate in customer review workshops;
• Manage AIC Delivery records accordingly for audit purposes.

Experience Required:

• 4+ years demonstrated experience within a role that interacts with suppliers or has a commercial foundation;
• Experience in analysing and reporting on client information with an ability to provide actionable recommendations;
• Prior exposure to procurement, supply chain management and/or engineering;
• Knowledge of Australian defence policy, industry landscape or defence program experience (desirable).
