I.T Project Manager - Defence Procurement

• Canberra location - Hourly Rate $115 per hour

Leading information and technology based firm specialising in cloud computing, cyber-security and data centers, my client is managing a large scale defence project to deliver a procurement system. They are looking for a project manager to manage an infrastructure project involving contract management system integration.

Responsibilities

• Contract management of external service providers to ensure delivery of outsoured project management and site integration activities associated with ICT projects
• Stakeholder management, resolving issues, coordinating technical teams and vendors (system integrators)
• Prepare and manage project budgets
• Project governance

Skills and Experience

• Must have NV1 clearance or higher (non-negotiable)
• Demonstrable experience in Australian Defence with particular familiarity with commonwealth procurement guidelines and processes. Any experience with defence is high desirable
• Demonstrable experience in project management with particular reference to procurement
